The Journey
I've spent over a decade building products used by millions. Along the way, I found that my favorite work happened when I could sit down with a founder or product owner, really understand what they needed, and build it—no handoffs, no miscommunication.
The Approach
Every project is different. Sometimes you need to move fast, validate an idea, and get to market before the window closes. Other times you need rock-solid foundation that you can build on for years. I've done both—a lot—and I know how to match the approach to the moment. Good engineering isn't about perfectionism; it's about making smart tradeoffs with your goals in mind.

Honesty
I'll tell you what I think, even when it's not what you want to hear. You deserve straight answers about timelines, tradeoffs, and what's realistic—and I'll always give them to you.
Reliability
I build things that last. Not because I'm chasing perfection, but because I know what happens when software breaks at 2 AM and someone has to fix it. I write code that's easy to understand, easy to maintain, and hard to break.
Attention
Details matter. The loading state that doesn't flicker, the API that handles edge cases gracefully, the database query that stays fast at scale—I care about the stuff your users feel but can't always name.
